We try to use all parts of the animals we eat. Tim has had a few stops and starts with the tannery but this skin appears to signal he's got it! Instead of chemicals like chromium, we use the bark from black wattles (Acacia meansii) off the farm. This is thought to be the best tanning agent there is for soft skins.
